Tamayo Perry (age 49, May 16, 1975 – June 23, 2024) was a renowned Hawaiian surfer and actor, who passed away tragically on June 23, 2024, due to a shark attack.
The fatal incident occurred on Sunday afternoon near Goat Island off Oahu’s North Shore, where Perry was surfing.
Emergency responders were alerted to the shark attack near Mālaekahana Beach, but unfortunately, Perry did not survive the encounter.
