ECCANDC is proud to support the Chesterfield Apartments with a contribution of $20,000. The Chesterfield Apartments will be a community of 42 affordable units designed for formerly local homeless seniors age 55+, including individuals with disabilities.

At the Chesterfield Apartments Block Party on September 25, the Empowerment Congress Central was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Councilman Harris-Dawson for our work and for supporting homeless seniors with our contribution.

“We, as a Board not only kept $20,000 in our community we also sent a clear message that We as Neighborhood Councils play a vital role in helping to end the homeless epidemic we face in Los Angeles,” said Daymond R. Johnson, President of the Empowerment Congress Central Neighborhood Council.
